IMPORTANT information on the provision of GPSR-relevant data content to the PBS Network

On 13.12.2024, the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) comes into force, and you are obliged to provide additional information on your products or in your online offers.

Enclosed you will find a list of the relevant content and a description of the corresponding fields that you must provide. In addition to the legal text, the content was based on the agreement within the ARGE Specialist Group DATA (ARGE EGD).

We will show the data content relevant to the Product Safety Regulation in the PBSeasy® online store by 13.12.2024 at the latest.

Another focus is the expansion of our data extraction formats to extract this data content. It is already possible to obtain the data content in the following formats:

• PBSEASY XML V3
• PBSEASY XML V2
• ASCII 020
• BMECAT
• Further formats are planned or under review

The following options are available for maintaining and transferring the new data content:

• Datamanager
• Excel upload
• Direct connection via PBSEASY XML V3
• Direct connection via PBSEASY XML V2

Please reply to this e-mail or create a ticket via our ticket system:

• If you provide the data via the Datamanager, we should update your Datamanager to the latest version as soon as possible.
  • You are welcome to suggest a date for the update.

• If you provide the data via the Excel upload, we will be happy to provide you with our updated Excel upload template
  • Please request the Excel upload template.

• If you provide the data via PBSEASY XML V3, we will be happy to provide you with the latest version of our XML schema.
  • Please request the version of our latest PBSEASY XML V3 schema
• If you provide the data via PBSEASY XML V2 , we will be happy to provide you with the latest version of our XML schemas.
  • Please request the version of our latest PBSEASY XML V2 schema
• If we have agreed on a specific data format, we should determine as quickly as possible how the new data should be transmitted.
  • Please request a schedule
• If none of these options are suitable for you, we would ask you to contact us as soon as possible so that we can find a solution together.
